The new Coastal highway has been finished and makes the trip from Villa Del Sol 2 to the International airport in San Jose an enjoyable 3 hour drive. Also available are two nearby regional airports in Quepos and Palmar Sur. You can fly from these airports to the San Jose airport in as little as 20 minutes.

Villa del Sol 2 is perfectly situated in the Eco Tourism zone for Costa Rica's growing South Pacific and just one mile south of downtown Uvita on the modern coastal highway. In Uvita you will find restaurants, retail stores, 2 major grocery stores, 3 national banks as well as all the services of convenience: an international grade school, medical and veterinary care and all forms of retail and professional services.

Locally you will find a National Marine Park offering a five mile stretch of maintained and protected beaches and mangroves. Fifteen minutes to the North is the popular surfing village of Dominical and another 25 minutes away is the famous Manuel Antonio National park. To the South of Villa del Sol 2 is the Osa Penninsula and Corcovado National Park both of which make amazing day trips and weekend stays.
